Welcome to The Van Wick Family. We’re a small UK outfit making wax melts, candles, air fresheners, and other scent-based creations for the road, the home, and the shed. We run this website to share our products, our stories, and a few honest thoughts along the way.
By using our site, buying our products, or subscribing to our updates, you’re agreeing to the terms below. They’re not written to trip anyone up – they just keep things clear and fair.

This site is operated by The Van Wick Family, a UK sole trader business.

Postal returns address will be provided upon request (we don’t publish it to stop unsolicited returns and spam).
2. Using the Site
You’re welcome to browse, read, and buy from the site. You agree not to:
Copy or misuse our content, images, or branding without permission.
Use the site for anything dodgy, illegal, or designed to harm the website or others.
Create fake orders or accounts (it’s daft, and we’ll spot it).

3. Ordering & Payment
We sell physical products (candles, melts, etc.) and sometimes offer subscriptions or pre-orders.
When you place an order, you’re agreeing that:
All information you give is accurate and complete.
Payment will be taken at the point of order through our listed payment provider (e.g. PayPal, Stripe, etc.).
Orders aren’t confirmed until payment clears.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order (for example, if something’s out of stock, mispriced, or we smell a scam).
4. Prices
All prices shown are in British Pounds (GBP).
We do our best to keep prices accurate, but mistakes can happen. If there’s a pricing error, we’ll contact you before dispatch to sort it out.
Delivery charges are shown at checkout unless we’re running a promo or free shipping offer.
5. Delivery
We post across the UK via Royal Mail or a courier of our choice.
Typical dispatch is 2–5 working days, but this can vary during busy periods or handmade batches.
You’ll get an email when your order’s on its way. Once it’s in the postal system, delivery times are out of our hands – but if it goes missing, contact us and we’ll sort it fairly.
6. Returns & Refunds
We follow UK consumer law (The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).

7. Subscriptions
If you sign up for a subscription box or scent drop:
Payments will be taken automatically at the frequency you select.
You can cancel anytime before your next billing date through your account or by contacting us.
We may update or discontinue certain scents or boxes, but we’ll give you notice if that happens.
8. Safety & Allergens
All our products are made in line with UK CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) regulations.
Labels will show any allergens or warnings required by law. Always read them before use and keep products away from kids, pets, and anything flammable that’s not meant to melt.

Our blog is where we talk about life, the road, and the reality behind the scents. Opinions are our own.
Nothing on the site is meant as professional advice – it’s just our take.

We respect your privacy and never sell your data.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your order.
